In honor of Mother's Day, I dust off my annual tribute to the source of wisdom that has helped me all my life: my mother.

I was blessed to have her unconditional love, and her advice continues to help me daily.

"That little voice in your head is your conscience. Listen to it."

"If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all."

"Stay away from trouble-makers."(Surround yourself with good people?)

"Make your bed."

"No balls in the house."

"Take good care of your toys, and they'll last a long time." (My 2008 M5 is in mint condition.)
